The Global Society for Nutrition, Environment and Health – GSNEH is a nonprofit organization consisting of a group of seasoned Physicians, Academicians, Researchers, Scholars, Environmentalists, Administrators, Journalists and Professionals from various fields, all across the globe.
The Society was established in 2009, with an agenda to substantially impact issues that are often the result of extreme poverty, nutritional deficiency, environmental constraints and human health problems, created and made worse by evermore deteriorating quality of our planets air, soil and water.
The Society is aimed at collaboration across countries and organizations, in order to create the synergy that propells progress and utilizes the networking capabilities of the society to navigate across various local Governments and UN agencies, resulting in weaving together common threads. The society proposes to build on the ground work, which the local governments and international agencies have established and furthermore, to direct these efforts in order to tackle today’s most pressing problems as effectively as possible.
The society has a pool of experts, from various disciplines and fields, that are able to offer advice and consultancy to the government bodies, educational establishments and private sectors. Regarding various issues related to Human nutrition, the Environment, and Human Health.
The Members of GSNEH have a self-imposed agenda of bringing together the government and non-government agencies, in order to achieve a working alliance, and to seek facilitation of conversations and working sessions. In order to evaluate the set goals, to analyze the prosed programs, to monitor the results and to revisit the strategies as a group.
The Society is geared towards creating an environment of trust and collaboration, where all involved parties can identify possible duplication and can mutually agree upon strategic actions that foster synergy rather than competition.
The agenda of GSNEH is to petition for collaboration, and facilitate reform of government and non-government organizations, addressing said issues involving Human Nutrition, the Environment and Human Health. The ultimate goal is to build upon the work initiated by various UN agencies, over the past 50 years,in order to support common efforts , achieved via working together with relevant local and international organizations, to improve the quality of life through better coordination, capacity building and dissemination of information.
